Setting a category manager allows a non-admin to have all ticket-related privileges for a specific category.
Users designated as an admin cannot be a manager for a category.
To select a manager for a category, go to the "Categories" menu. For each category, there will be a dropdown allowing the user to select the manager. When selecting the manager, the following is done:
- The user is designated as the manager for the specific category
- The user is given access to the category if they do not already have access
- If an existing user was manager, the old user will no longer have all ticket-related privileges.
If a previous user was manager of a category, they will still have access to that category. You must manually revoke their access if they should no longer have access to the category.
